Lap Swim Spring Extension 2018

Registration closes in 8 days

This is an drop in Lap Swim Pass. Open to those looking to swim some laps, all lap swim abilities welcome. Lane availability will be on a first come basis. Participants will only be permitted to come during this schedule pool time. Program is reserved for participants 18 years and older.

Lap Swim available between 8am - 10am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning.

Lap Swim will begin on Wednesday, May 30 and will end on Friday, June 22.


Max Cardio Interval Training Summer 2018

A combination of high intensity and low impact cardio combined with both body weight and dumbbell intervals. This class gets your heart pumping with fun cardio moves and builds bone density with heavy and light weight intervals. An emphasis on personal attention and proper technique helps you build lean muscle so you slim down and get stronger. We use modifications and progressions to help you work at the best level for you.

Classes meet on Tuesday & Thursday mornings at 7:15am for 1 hour.

There will be 12 classes total, start on Tuesday, June 19 and ending on Thursday, July 26. No class will be held on Tuesday, June 26 and Thursday, June 28.

A minimum of 6 participants are needed for the class to run. Registration will close on Friday, June 15.


Gryphon Volleyball Camp 2018

The first annual Gryphon volleyball camp is taking place July 14th and 15th, 2018. It will be run by the Sarah Lawrence College Women’s volleyball staff and is open to rising 9th grade girls through high school seniors.

 Swim Lessons:

Please make sure that you register each child according to the class that best fits their ability; classes are not based on your child's age.  If you have any questions about your child's ability please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

FAQ:

The pool temperature is kept at 81-82 degrees

Class sizes are kept at no more than a 5 -1 ratio, many classes are kept lower

 

Class time and size are limited and should fill up quickly.  We will not have additional class times to offer once they are filled. We do not offer make up classes, so please review the dates before registering.  Thank you for your understanding.

We are located off of the Cross County Parkway, which is accessible from the Hutchinson River Parkway, the Bronx River Parkway, the New York Thruway or the Saw Mill River Parkway.

 

If you plan to use GPS navigation, our building is located at 12 Wilgarth Road, Yonkers, NY. This is not a mailing address.

 

If you are coming EAST on the Cross County (from the Saw Mill Parkway or the NY Thruway): Take EXIT 5, Kimball/Midland, go to the bottom of the exit ramp and turn LEFT onto Kimball Avenue.  You will go under the parkway, through the first traffic light and the building will be on your LEFT.  Go just past the building and turn left and then left again into the driveway.  Park in the back.

 

If you are coming WEST on the Cross County (from the Hutchinson Parkway): Take EXIT 5, Kimball/Midland, go to the end of the exit ramp and turn RIGHT at the stop light.  At the next traffic light turn LEFT onto Kimball Avenue.  The building will be immediately on your LEFT.  Go just past the building and turn left and then left again into the driveway.  Park in the back.
